First Steps

18 MONTHS – 3 YEARS

Ignite your little one’s joy with our playful sessions designed to build confidence, coordination, and early steps in faith.

Little feet, big moments.

There's nothing quite like watching a toddler connect with a ball for the first time. The wobble, the swing, the look up to check you saw it — and then the sprint to do it all over again.

First Steps is built for exactly that moment. Your little one gets their first real touches of a football and scores goals that will be talked about all the way home. There's no pressure and no side-line: you're right there on the floor with them, cheering, passing and celebrating together.

Every session is wrapped in playful, faith-based games, so while they're learning to kick, run and share, they're also taking their earliest steps in faith. It's football, it's play, and it's forty-five minutes of joy you get to be part of.

What a session looks like

  • We start with prayer — a short, simple moment together to set the tone.

  • A Bible story comes to life — a fun, active game built around a story your child can follow and remember.

  • Skills and drills — first kicks, dribbling round the cones, and plenty of shooting at goal.

  • We finish with prayer — everyone together, thanking God for the fun we've had.

The practical bits

Indoors, whatever the weather. Sessions run in sports halls, so there's no cancelling for rain and no muddy car seats.

45 minutes. Just the right length for little attention spans, with room for a breather.

All equipment provided. Balls, cones, goals — it's all set up and ready when you arrive.

What to bring

Comfy clothes for your child — something they can run, and kick in

Comfy clothes for you — you'll be down on the floor with them, so leave the smart trousers at home

Comfortable shoes for both of you — trainers are perfect

A water bottle — for the little one, and one for you too

That's it. Just turn up ready to play.

Your coaches

Every session is led by professional, fully qualified coaches who are DBS checked and safeguarding trained. They're specialists in working with the very youngest children — patient, warm and brilliant at turning a shy toddler into one who won't leave the pitch. Parents and carers stay for the whole session, so you're never far from your child.

We'll Help You Find the Right Programme

Every child develops differently. If you're unsure which programme is the best fit, our coaching team will happily recommend the most suitable group based on your child's age, confidence and football experience. Every child is welcomed into an environment where they can grow at their own pace.
